Hello to all in the FBBO community. I'm excited to absorb more Mopar knowledge from those who know it best. I am a life long muscle car enthusiast, who has loved the classic car hobby since I was a teenager (so, 40+ years now).

My wife and I have been building a collection of American muscle cars since the 90's, so that we would have plenty of "projects" to keep us busy in retirement. We hope to NOT offend any "Mopar or no car" diehards (that we do respect), but our collection does include classic cars from many of the American automotive companies (mostly 1968-1971) that we believe deserve to be preserved in this great hobby. We got bit in the butts by the mopar bug back in 2001, and we now proudly own more mopars than any of the others (three A bodies, and one B body)

We are currently back to restoring the bug that bit us, a 1969 Plymouth Satellite (Roadrunner Tribute). It has been put on the side burner many times thru our working years, between major systems restorations. The previous owner put lipstick on a pig when they dropped a gorgeous paint job on the exterior of a car that needed floorboards, trunk floor, and a full restoration of every system on an automobile (drivetrain, suspension, brakes, electrical, interior, HVAC, fuel system, etc.). I'm sure many of you have had to do this type of restoration and know just how stressful it is to cut, grind, weld, assemble & disassemble around a paint job that would probably cost 15K+ (these days) to replace. We are an interior, engine build, and reassembly away from completion at this time and hope to not hit the "burnout stage" where it gets put back on the side burner.

Anyway, that's our story and we look forward to absorbing more knowledge, and sharing our 40+ years of knowledge with whomever may need it.

All of our days are limited, but our passion for this hobby is not!

Welcome. Show us some pictures of that Mopar, and at least tell us about the other muscle cars in your collection.
