New to the forum!!!

Hey everybody, I'm new to the forum. I am an industrial mechanic in New Mexico. I am buying my dad's 74 Satellite from him in the couple weeks. We have worked on it for the last 10 years off and on--more off than on. He wants to start getting money for his retirement so I get the car. He originally bought it new from Allison Dodge in Farmington his senior year and sold it two years later to a police officer. He ran into this now retired officer in August of 2000 and asked how 'old blue' was. A week later the car was towed into the driveway and shockingly had a straight body. It made it through three daughters in high school. WOW. I already have a lot of plans for this car including a 408 stroked engine and custom two-tone paint. Im going to wrap the numbers matching engine and tranny and put them in the garage in case I want to do a true restoration. Well I'm really happy to being here and I already have fun reading the posts. Thanks! Here a couple of pics.
