Hey all,
New to the site....nice to meet you!!!!
My first recollection of Mopars....I was 8 years old. I went with my dad to the Plymouth dealership in the town I grew up in. He was putting a down payment on a '70 Duster. Slant 6, automatic, blue on blue. steel wheels dog dish hubcaps....family car.
My hand to God....I remember this as if it was yesterday.....over my shoulder, a 1970 Superbird....the wing, the cone front end....I WAS IN LOVE!!!! White, black vinyl top.
I looked at the car....tugged on my dads shirt and said "Hey Dad, why dont we get that????"
He looked at the car, smiled looked down and winked at me. He was a car guy.
Needless to say, the Duster came home a week later.
Ive been in love with and in search of that car since....LOL
Looking forward to "hanging out" with you guys.
Al the best,
