New TV show on speed " The Car Show "

Much better effort then the US version of top gear . By no means as good as the UK Top Gear , but i really liked the series opener and hope they keep up the good work .

I watched it for 15 minutes.... and shut it off......

A Geek.... a Wall Street yahoo... and a Basketball player talking..:argue:..about European exotic cars really dosen't do it for me...

Maybe it'll get better...

Yeah i watched it too, it was pretty funny, Adam Carolla is a local boy here is L.A. and i've partied with him a few times, i really hope his show is a hit!

Seems like the idea is to pick a subject,hire a cast of celebrities, & Presto; they are experts in that field. Tired of that formula, myself. Who gives a **** what Michael Jordan thinks about batteries or briefs vs boxers ?

Yeah but with top gear USA they hires two of the three as car experts car guys , no humor and it really sucks . The cars can speak for them selves as they put them through the paces but you have to have the humor to keep my attention . My two cents . Adam Corolla " The Man show " he just kills me .

I'll have to check it out, The Man Show was great! Still going to give TG USA another season before I give up...think it starts back up next week? Stinking BBC America hasn't started the new season of the UK version of Top Gear even though they're 3 episodes in now.

One show that really ground my gears was Muscle Car on Spike...used to be a couple of normal car guys with good features and not just trying to sell parts and crack moronic jokes. I turn it on one day and they'd been replaced with a couple of d-bags that spent half the show messing with the staff of another show and didn't seem to know a Dodge from a Daihatsu.

Yeah,I agree. But they are talented d-bags. Lou & the loony tunes dude from Rad Rides by Troy were a great pair. Talent & a little off kilter.
TG America. Well Rutledge hopefully won`t reproduce & further dilute the gene pool. When I watch a Nascar program & see Rutledge, I turn it to mute til he`s gone. Dude annoys me for whatever reason.

I watched for about 5 minutes. Thought it was stupid. The man show was great but its hard to go wrong with t&a. I would be hard pressed to watch the car show again.

The Car Show....? More like a talking magazine..... I doubt that any of those guys know which end of a screwdriver to pick up.....

Pretty muchs sums up my thoughts. John Sally? Nice contribution... Geez he looked like a fish out of water the whole show.

I did not watch it and probly won't adam carolla is not on my favroite list, american top gear stinks in my opinion. I agree muscle car was good with the other guys so was trucks when stacy david was on it,horse power was good when the big guy was on it also.The thing i dislike on all those shows is their budget builds don't fit in my budget i can't afford most of that stuff.

Didnt expect this one either , I watch all the US top gear hoping like hell they would get better but dont think i can stomack much more of them . The Uk show is so much better just in the cinematography , let alone the great content . Uk top gear is definely the best show on TV for me . But i love british humor I describe it as Monty Python meets motor week .

I thought that it was just this side of okay. If your going to get celebs why not get some that are known for their love of cars. EG Sammy haggar, Chris Titus, need i say jay Lenno. okay this may be a stretch, but you get my drift. Looks like a good show with Adam though. I had no idea he was a car guy, but I've always liked his style.
