New Wiper Blades or a Used Car?

I see a pair of RainX wiper blades going for $55.00 these days. Well, my first two vehicles cost me $125.00 and $100.00 respectively (circa 1973 I purchased a '65 Valiant four-door V-8 and a '63 Pontiac Grand Prix-both running and serving as my daily drivers). Hard to believe my eyes what things cost now. Photos show the models I purchased back then but they are not mine.

Wiper blades are important on the car if you plan on driving very far in the rain......it's a no-brainer really.

...unless you live in a place with no rain.
