New York hits record setting temperature today

Well the temperature hit an all time high of 108 degrees today surpassing the old high of 105 degrees. i had to call it quits today at 1:00pm today. i couldn't take the heat and humidity today.

Shoot, I don't think it got that hot down here in NC. Last I looked we were just a bit over 100. I feel so much cooler now

the records day its the hottest ever here in NY.
previous high was 105 and they say tomorrow will be a record setter again.
no racing for me this weekend.

Been well over 100 for the last week here also. The heat index is 113-115. You couldn't pay me to go to the track let along go out to the garage.

They were talking of the records around here and had New York on the weather channel, I thought it was hot here at 97.6 which is but the city with all the cement and asphalt must have been a scorcher! I don't think Saturday is going to be better, Stay cool!

Been pretty miserable here in the Motor City too, we hit that 100 mark on Thursday and I had to work outside all week. Thankfully the house I am working on is very shaded and lakefront! My tollerance for extreme temps, hot or cold, is not what it used to be. Give me between 60 and 80 all year and I would be just fine with that.

It been hitting over 100 since the start of June. Hating life here.

Horse owners are worried because of the lack of hay and feed to give them. Most people are selling all their cattle due to shortage of grass and water.

Has been above 100 here south of Annapolis since Wednesday. 102 on Thursday. 104 on Friday. Heat index here is 116. They say we get relief next week. Halleiluiah
