I no longer have the Blue 68. It went to Australia so I could buy the Daytona. I traded the green superBee in on a 09 SRT8 Challenger. I now have The Yellow vert, Black Daytona, red SRT8, 71 Duster project and 74 Dart Daily driver.
Ain't that the truth. I've been dealing with them on and off for 12 years. Kinda a last resort thing. James is very helpful. Not they are crooks, just over priced imo. I did get to roam their yard back in '99 (accompanied) and I was amazed at all the cars they had. Racks 20' long with rear ends. Morton buildings full of fenders, doors, deck lids, ect. Give em a try if u like. Also Mitch's in Tonica (ACE Auto Salvage) he has several yards and a few quonset hut's. I was told he has a lot of oem chrome bumpers, still wrapped up from back in the day. Good luck on your hunt for red october..
I used to live in Granite City until 10 years ago. I live in Greenville now, which is where I grew up. My Cordoba was sold new at Granite Chrysler-Plymouth, 19th and Grand Ave. I got the original bill of sale with the car.
I went to SIUC too, in the 80's. I still get down there now and then and know the area pretty well. I love that gas station-garage. I sure miss the old Standard stations.
I don't get to GC too much anymore, but I do run around with some guys that get together and take cars to Bobby's Frozen Custard in Maryville once in a while. Next time we do, I'll let you know.
