As a WI native I salute you for taking on a big project like this after all of that time went by. I gave up, moved out to the desert and now turn my nose up at surface rust. Don't even own an oxy-acetylene torch anymore. Salt rust is some nasty stuff!

That's a no shi!!er, and it likes to hide, I've seen cars that look pretty stupendous on the outside, and look in the crevices and underneath everything, and you wonder how it's still standing...
Nice car and definitely keep us post with pics of your progress!!! Welcome aboard.
