D-Day, wow!
We have an anniversary coming in May. I am amazed at how the years click by. And it goes faster each year. Thank goodness for good women and fast cars!
Ok, no pictures yet ( promise, some will be coming). I mentioned completing the steering column rebuild and have just about got it done. That's next set of pictures and a few helpful tips.
Another item is the trim. The University of You Tube is most helpful on some things, right?
Over the years, trim gets dull, dinged, etc. So in the course of trying to straighten it all back up, I found out that patience is the key. Little tiny hammers, little tiny anvils (or some kind of solid surface - not wood) and little tiny strikes. Then sanding, and sanding and sanding. The finish is well worth the effort but so sucky doing all the sanding.
