Newbie owner of a white 68 Superbee 4speed

Welcome to FBBO. Beautiful car. Did you get any paperwork/pictures on how the car was restored from the flood damage or is that the information you are trying to find
She hasn't been restored yet her paint & body are beautiful needs very little to bring her back. I'll be doing all the dismantling to make sure everything is dried out & restored. She was bought from a place called earth motor cars near Dallas around June 2024 by the prior owner. Her Mecum auction april 2024 houston shows she came with the build sheet. I tried Earth Motors cars and asked them if they would call or email the party they sold it to & just ask them if by chance they had it or maybe even a picture/copy from when they put the car in mecum. They basically said that's too much work and since your not spending $70k+ with us were not interested in helping you:D typical car dealer could care less about recovering the cool authenticity factor of a classic mopar. So I'd thought I start here I may also try mecum. Since I have an A body & an E body the missing link was a B body

Been focused on some other projects but I'm going to start this week on doing some more to her. Under the carpet is dry but I think the bench seat is wet in the foam. Need to roll her out and get all the Florida sand off. Going to spray the under carriage down wd40. I'll get some pics going as I go

Oh that’s a favorite! The post is the most.

Screw those guys for not helping. No goodwill in the hobby means no goodwill coming back. Such a minor thing to ask.

More specifically, Earth Motorcars in Carrollton, Texas
