Touch Down Detroit, Lions 31-24 Texans, 13:31 left

That Lions game....DAMN...WTF was up with the one call? Don't get me started;the Lions still should have overcome that call. Too many drops, way too many effing drops.

Damn

That penalty for Detroit throwing a Red flag to challenge, an un-challengeable play & a 15 yard unsportman like penalty ?? that was a freaken joke... I've never seen that on before... Detroit Losing again in OT, what a pisser... too damn many turn overs in OT & that missed Field Goal by Hanson was a shocker...damn damn damn Just look below that always make it all better ... well sort of anyway

I don't know what the Lions have to do to win a game on Thanksgiving. What's it been, 9 or 10 years? Like you said Bud, at least the Cowpies lost.
Pats are kicking the Jets butts. No surprise there.

Moparsmitty yep, the Jets down by 35 @ home & they go for a field goal...LOL... Rex Ryan won't last much longer in New York/New Jersey... I'm not a Patriots fan either...LOL...

I really thought this was the Lions game finally... NOT/Denied damn damn damn

Now dat was an *** woopin !
Rexy and the Jetsssssss .....Sung to the tune of Benny and the Jets.
They have horrible personal on offense, the defense isnt that bad.. there is a reason the Pats avg the most pts per game of any team this year but the Jets O stinks bad. Pats vs Texans will be a good game and measuring stick for both teams if that's possible. Pats D has been improving but who have they really face lately.

Though I'm not a Pats fan either, they set the example on how to build-and maintain-a competitive team year after year. You would think other teams would learn, but no-o-o-o-o-o... Case in point: The Lions drafted Pettidrop in the first f@#$%&@ round. Where did Tony Gates get drafted? Jimmy Graham? Gonzales? Bronkowski? Not a damn one of them in the first round, yet EVERY one of those tight ends are exemplary players,in all facets of their game. Pettidrop/Pettifumble,because he was taken in the first, should exceed ALL their stats and walk on water as well. Nothing of the kind. BAD pick. There's more, but he's the most glaring example of the Lions front office draft day woes.

Don't even get me started on what the Raiders have done...can you say Heywood-Bey? Not without a grimace.

The Pats have a formula for drafting and are one of the best at it. But it wasn't always like that. Anyone remember Lucky Tebucky ?

All right, all right, enough about the damn freaken' Pats, my stomach is turning already, the freaken' "tuck rule"{fumble in my book} that started it all for Tom Bradey/Bill Belicheck & the begining of the end for the Raiders & their winning ways... We were robbed of a spot in the Super Bowl by the POS Refs "twice" against the damn Pats, it's just too hard to take sometimes...LOL...

They're the best at "cheating & getting away with it", for years with little to no league repercussions too...

LOL that was payback for the phantom roughing the passer call against the snake

Come on now man... pick up your chin and dont stoop to that ...LOL
The Pats got caught is all that happened. If you think they were alone in it your naive and if you were a chic we should have a drink together...hahahahaha

No I don't think they are the only dirty team, that cheats, hell there use to be a sign in the Oakland Raiders Locker Room that said "Rule #1 Cheating is encouraged & rule #2 when in doubt refer back to rule #1" or something along those lines, but it was referring to the players on the field, take every advantage they could... But not the coaching staff or management or some outside source taping/filming practices & pre-game plays run thru's or spying for them, like the New England Patriots did... Pats they're just the one that got caught & little to nothen' came of it...LOL... I 'm not a chick, but I'm whining like one here it seems or if I was, I'm the hairiest freaken' chick in the world, kind of like the bearded lady...LOL... but I would take that drink, make mine Jack & Coke...LOL...

Hahahahahaha... I blame Mangina for it. He got caught filming when he went to ..was in KC or the Jets?

Thing about the tuck rule game... Vinatieri hit 2 amazing field goals in 5 feet of snow through a Nor'Easter to tie and then win the game. I agree we certainly had a gift handed to us from the football gods and that tuck rule, but it was one play and not a game winning play at all. Raiders had plenty of opportunity in the game to win it after that play but the field goals in a blizzard are the real hero . People remember the controversial call though instead..LOL

I'd be bitter if I were you too..LOL Just like the Lions should be with that BS penalty that negated the correct call from being made. But lets call that Karma for the intentional kick to the nads by the dirtiest most hateful player in the league. I think Suh should be banned for a year. He is trying to hurt every QB he touches. The league would suck if we had Trent Dilfers at the postion becasue all the marquee players are injured

Yep the field goals won it, but there wouldn't even been the tying field goal, or Raiders could have ran time off the clock, let alone them getting into OT, without the BS OBSCURE DAMN "TUCK RULE", IMHO the Raiders maybe could have either got another score, Field Goal or Touch Down in that series, at least ran the clock down, then punted or put the game out of reach, the refs screwed them, instead the refs effectively handing a tie opportunity to them, it wasn't 5' of snow...LOL... on the field, maybe 5"s max, the line man also cleared a spot for the kicker... yep & I guess they were both 65 yard field goals, in a 50mph head wind now too, WOW...LOL... 40-45 yard field goals are routine in the NFL "snow or not", even in the wind at Foxbourgh... your right Adam Vinatieri is or at least was money... People remember the bad call, because it was highway robbery or total obscure Rules BS, that changed the game completely... The only people that think it was just, are Patriots fans...

Yep the Loins DT Suh should be fined at least, maybe even sat down for a couple games, a season is a little harsh, even for him...

99ss;I think it was the Jets.

I agree with you about Suh;should at least sit out at least 2 games for that shot. He's so effing talented and athletic, but seems to be almost bi-polar personality-wise. Been talk on sports radio in the D about trading his *** before he costs them-and himself-even more. Word is that a healthy fine,at least,is coming his way. Something else...he's asking for a career-ending injury to a knee or arm or something for the cheap shots;O-linemen protect their QB like it may be their own kid. Last man on the pile might see Suh's leg hung out there and consider, even if just for a moment, that putting Suh out of action could be,uh,advantageous? Wouldn't surprise me;these guys have long memories.

Not advocating it;just saying that I'd bet my Plymouth the idea has crossed someone's mind.

Contrary to the New Touchy Feely Crowd, that's a DT job is to get to & hurt the QB, multiple times a game {maybe not how Suh is going about it}, It's kind of always been that way, now we have all this political correctness crap in the NFL, the QB is part of the 11 man team on the field, he's free game or should always be...

Yea that was how I was taught as well, try and take him out but we dont live in the dark ages anymore and tghe game is more entertaining with the marquee players making plays not being injured for 6-8 weeks. You would see and understand that if the Raiders had any talent at the position and were winning and all of sudden your best players is out for the season from a cheap shot. The new touchy feely rules are in place for a reason: MONEY! It isnt just about player safety is about keeping a good product on the field which is about the money. Personally I'd rather see Mannings and Bradys and RG3's and the Lions QB and the other new talent than a wildcat offense derived to make the Rb the QB cause you dont have talent at the position.

Yes I know in days of yore men were men and you played the game ... But those guys cant walk now are brain dead and suing the league. The earleir ones from them are killing themselvs from hearing voices. There is significant medical information now about the long term effects of the game. Maybe they are just cattle to you and a product to be used and pooped out but the players themselves now want to not wind of cripple and brain dead by the time they are 50.

As far as the Patriot stuff the exagerations were meant to be funny. The Raiders still had plenty of chance in that game and people dont make those field goals as easy as you want to play it off to be. Gostowski misses 37 yarders on a clear day.
Lineman kicking snow away? You need to let it go, it was too many years ago to keep eating you up like this and I'm trying to be nice. Nothing short of pheonominal were those two kicks. Nothing short of crying like babies is all we've heard from Raider fans since. It was payback for the BS roughing the passer call when we felt like we could have wont it all. I wont even mention Stanley Morgan. The Raiders were the dirtiest team in the league for how many years? And its their undisciplined play that has cost them countless games chances shots... as well as the damage Al Davis did. (RIP) Your team and fan base are the last people on the planet that should cry and whine about one call the way you guys do.

Now I am trying to be nice... lets just agree to disagree about the game that happened over 10 yrs ago and move on :)

You dont want to get the :
