I would consider wearing a Raiders jersey. But doesn't that mean I'd have to be "beaten-in"? Isn't that the usual process for "gang-affiliation"? Would I have to start selling crack?

I get such a kick outta the reputation of the Raiders fans. Although there is some truth to it- I was all decked out in black and silver last Friday at the game, and a total thug said "Yo! That hat is so gangsta!"

Seriously, though- 90% of the fans are cool. It's a great cross-section of the Bay Area that I don't usually see where I live.

The other 10%... they make the game more exciting! LET'S GO OAKLAND!

...and,I watched my Tigers play "Lions" baseball. It's an affliction. The damn Lions looked so inept. The future? Another sub-.500 season,another coaching staff change,and another 4-5 year "rebuilding" period. The Raiders need work,but at least they've hoisted a couple of Lombardi trophies. The Lions probably never will.

I'm trying to not get too pumped up about the Hawks, but DAMN! I know it's just a preseason game but I thought they handled Denver pretty well. Yea they got a few breaks but Denver is supposed to be pretty good this year. We'll see when it gets real. :blob1:

Sorry Bear R, BUT not if the Steelers look "anything" like they did last night... that's the worst they've played/looked, that I can remember in quite a while... even if it's only 2nd game in the "pre-season", they beat themselves

Welker is already injured ..LOL Sorry but I don't see Denver going anywhere. If Wilson can avoid the sophomore slump I like Seattle and of course NE... Brady looks focused and it seems it doesn't matter who you plug in at receiver ... he's going to lay the ball perfectly in there and make you a superstar.. just ask Welker ( he was nothing until the Pats ( actually Brady)turned him into an overpaid whine ball.

I saw that too, he went to play with Manning thought it would be a better chance of going to the Super Bowl supposedly... You & Brady... Get a room...He he ha ha, there's no "Tuck Rule" anymore to save him...LOL... unfortunately it's quite a few years too late now... sorry I can't help it...

No kidding. An offensive line that looked bad trying to pass block and a QB that can barely move. Sorry Bear, not a good combination. Unless the O line gets a lot better they have serious problems on offense. Is Rothlesberger getting bigger and slower?

The new O coordinator isn't a long term guy either IMHFO anyway, Ben didn't really like the guy to begin with & he's been shipped around a bunch, probably all for good reasons, he was the old O/C & Head coach of the 2-14 Chiefs last....
