Budnicks;WTF happened to Da Raiders Monday night? I saw that game while I was down in the Burgh,and Gawd they looked bad*. Pryor should just go back to OSU. Don't like him,don't like the acquisition. OK;it's only pre-season,but it was the stinkin' Cowgirls that they lost to. @#$%!!!

It's going to be another one of those years, "Just Win Baby" Please, the 2 missed short field goal by the "back up kicker", would/could have at least tied the game for them, neither team got in the end zone, that's pretty bad... I think, new Head Coach Dennis Allen supposed to be a big defensive guy, the New GM Reggie {whatever} hiring decissioins & the rest of the coaching staff, don't impress me at all, at least so far, the defense looked decent a few times early, still not that impressed though, OH WELL... I hate to see the Raiders loose ever, I bleed Silver & Black, been bleeding allot the last decade...LOL... but loose to the Cowboy's in a pre-season game in Oakland, damn I think someone is going to come & take my "man card" & soon...LOL... :argue: Raiders stunk it up, especially all the receivers, hit them in the hands, then drop the damn ball, way too often, Matt Lienart looked decent, backing up his old USC classmate Carson Palmer, Terrel Pryor only knows how to run, that's it, he can't stay in the pocket & read coverages... Niners looked Ok... Green Bay kind of stunk it up too... Chicago stunk it up... Chargers looked decent {I hate that}... Broncos & Peyton Manning didn't impress me much... Lions looked Ok... Colts even looked Ok, maybe even impressive with Andrew Luck... Jets stunk it up, especially Mark Sanchez, but like you said "it's only pre-season"... I know there are stupid coaching plans, to not show what you have, to any opponents, but Damn I hate loosen... :headbang:

It hurts my eyes to even look at that thing, vengeance from the 70 's upsets, great Steelers Vs Raiders rivalry, especially play off games.... I know, I know, "it's for you girlfriend"... I had an ex-girlfriend Lisa B. that was a damn Steelers fan too, but she was also an Oregon Ducks fan, so it canceled each other out...LOL...

That Raiders-Dallas joke on Monday was by far the worst NFL game I have ever seen. Being in attendance, luckily I had a buddy of mine to talk **** and drink beers with, we did a fine job of ignoring the pathetic play on the field.

Actually;it's going to a friend from the snowmobile world who is possibly the biggest Steelers fan west of the Mississippi,and he's in North Dakota. The old lady has one,but she bought it herself. If the NoDak dude already has one,the gf is going to claim it for someone she works with who is a fan and has Pittsburgh ties.

Now,the BIG question: Should I invest in some Raiders gear now,or wait until they're respectable again? Might have to go old school and get something like Howie's #75 or even older.

I say old school, #1 Al Davis, Stabler, Plunkit, Hubbard, Banazack, Sistrunk, Upshaw, Otto, Bo Jackson, Casper, Millen, Tatum, Willie Brown, Alzado, Long, John Mattuseac, Bilitnicoff, Cliff Branch, Gault, Tim Brown... Probably all spelled incorrectly..LOL.. I don't see any player on the current roster, I would buy a Jersey for me... Maybe, Seymour, Tommy Kelly, Palmer, McFadden, Lechler or Janikowski if you get a new jersey....

OK; Da Raiders whupped on the Lions last night.:angry9: Tough watch,as I root for both teams. As much as I can't stand Terrelle Pryor-don't like him,his former school,that program,etc.-the SOB can play football. Damn well. So can the receiver Crimer. Looked like Stabler to Branch last night. Over and over. Carson Palmer had better improve or he'll be toting a clipboard-he did not look good last night.

The Lions?:angryfire: More f@#$%&g injuries to key players;Stafford(hand),Kevin Smith(ankle),Chris Houston(ankle),Bill Bentley(shoulder);the effing list goes on. This team cannot catch a break. Their "vaunted" D-line got shredded by McFadden and Da Raiders O-line. The secondary is so depleted that it was pitch-and-catch for the Oakland QBs and receivers.

Hey;there wasn't as much yellow laundry tossed on the field as I had expected. Especially with these two teams.

Al-K I can relate, I wanted the Lions to do well, Suh looked decent, Pettigrew looked decent, 1's against 1's did pretty well, Raiders Carson Palmer & Darren McFadden hasn't looked very good at all this preseason yet, Lions Matt Stafford & Mega-tron are still a great combo to deal with, no Matt Lienart but Terrell Pryor looked pretty good for playing with the 2's & 3's, I'm still not sold on the guy, never have been a big fan of the running QB's, prefer the pocket passer type QB's, they last allot longer, seem allot smarter too, the Raiders Defense looked marginally better last night, especially Cumbie D/T, great pass rusher... I'm glad the Raiders won & scored some TD's for a change, I hope "Sea bass" Janikowski isn't hurt too long, has a groin injury, after-all he's their best scorer....

Some of these player are not too smart are they ??, just from the poverty or the projects, to a big college/university, try to just play sports & maybe get a degree, in basket weaving or astronomy, phys-ed or some other easy attempted degree, then end up going straight to the NFL, as soon as they are eligible to go, then end up with no degree or education to fall back on, when they are done with football, after 3-5 year playing average {then poor & broke a couple years after that}, why would you risk a multi-million dollar career, unless you stupid or something ?? {that's a rhetorical question, I know the answer}, just to "party & make it rain", at strip joints & night clubs, "you can take a hick from the sticks, but can't take the sticks out of a hick", if you get my drift... I have a better analogy than that, for the situation, but I don't want to come off or be considered prejudice &/or racist or something {which I'm not, I think they are all just athletes}, because of a stupid comment or annalogy...
