Man, I'd hate to be a Lions fan today. Depressing. Losing is bad enough, but losing like that can put a team into a funk that they don't get over soon. The Lions have looked good at times, but they are incredibly erratic.
Oddsmakers are calling the Seahawks at Vikings the toughest game to call this Sunday. Hopefully it will be a good game. West coast teams are notorious for being half asleep at early road games,

Hell of a finish in my opinion. I haven't yelled like that at a game for a long time.

That was an all timer - I couldn't believe they pulled it out. While the penalty was borderline, we'll take it. It kind of makes up for the time Rodgers almost had his head torn off by an indisputable facemask that wasn't called at the end of a playoff game a few years ago.

I think this could be the turnaround moment to their season. By they way, word is that Eddie Lacy was pretty much benched for missing curfew the night prior to the game. The rookie RB he missed it with was cut from the team just hours before the game. That made room for undrafted rookie RB Crockett to make his debut - which went well for him. Good for the Packers in sending a message that to these guys that only players serious about winning need apply. There's been a lot of talk this week that some of these guys have been spending more time with their video games than the playbook.

"Almost everybody loves them" I'm from Minnesota and took that penalty and lion loss almost as hard as the Detroit fans. The Vikings have a pivotal, tough game this Sunday with the Seahawks. If they want to retain first place in the NFC North it's a must win. The game is being called a toss up. Should be a good one - it won't be on TV in LA so I have to rely on my phone for updates. I don't need this kind of stress.

what was great, the way AR (aaron rodgers) faked the face mask, by snapping his head ....kind of like a punter faking "being run into" or faking it ...like my girlfriend does! :icon_thumright: it was a thing of beauty!

BTW; the chance of a hail mary woking in the NFL (pass over 60 yards) is 1 in 999.....

Totally agree it was a good job of acting by Rodgers. Agree with all your points - except my wife doesn't fake it - just ask her......

The seahawks looked very good and they have a good team - but as a die hard Viking fan I was totally demoralized by halftime you could tell it was going to be one of those days. They're a better team than they played. Have to hand it to the Hawks. They crushed them in their own house. So much for a game that was supposed to be a toss up.......

Only saw the Raiders & the SF games...
SF got lucky, made my Ol'Pops happy thou...

Chiefs do have the Raiders # for sure, 4th qtr was all Chiefs & now won 6 of the last 7 meetings...
Game started out OK, didn't go well/end well for Carr
{not really ever my guy, But oh well, he's who we have, moments of being good}
Cooper & Crabtree did well, when they got or caught the balls...LOL
Murray ran the rock pretty well, Raiders defense couldn't cover Maclin,
not sure why ?, especially even when they knew he was a main target...
Missed FG's didn't help, but wouldn't have made much difference anyway,
at-least wouldn't have been an 0-fer, in the 4th qtr...
Even if the Chiefs "actually" make the playoffs,
they will be out 1st game anyway, like they always are... {sorry}
Sad part {or good maybe} is the Raiders aren't "mathematically out it yet, too",
albeit a longshot...

Hanging my head a little lower today...BUT;

Loved seeing/reading the Pats go down to the Eagles...
Loved seeing Eli's Giant get beat too...
