You mean I won't have to walk all the way out to that mail box on a Saturday again just to collect a hand full of junk mail ? YEA!! lol
The beginning of the end for USPS Again .The USPS is in Default Billions of Taxpayers dollars for years...
Another government program ruined & with the help of Unions unfunded obligations for retiree health benefits. You can Blame congress for this, because they oversee this program....
There oughtta be no more post office. FEDEX and UPS can do a better job.
Really????? I'm not sure what you are smoking but I would like some! My business ships UPS and Fedex on a daily basis and it ain't quick or cheap. What do you think Fedex or UPS would charge to deliver a letter ANYWHERE in the US?

That was the day when Real Men worked, carried their bag and gave 100%. they even looked the part pressed uniform, tie, badge & polished shoes! they had our respect because they respected themselves.Daddy started with the post office in 1946, fresh out of his stint in the Navy in WWII. I remember him tellin us all they had in Macon was three model T trucks and everybody else walked. I remember he even wrote President Nixon urging him to consider making more mailmen walk to conserve energy. He always said the post office was lazy and wasteful...especially when they got those little Jeeps. He contended that all of those routes could be walked....and he was right. He was a carrier for 36 years, until mama got sick with cancer and he had to retire "early" for him anyway. I can remember him coming home talking about the union guys trying to strongarm all of them to join. He never did. He crossed picket lines to keep food on the table. Yeah, I reckon he was a scab......but he was smart. He knew the unions weren't gonna pay him ****. Never had a use for the unions. He saw it even back then. He'd be mortified if he was alive to see the kinda service the post office is givin today.
