After many beverage tip-overs i tried to find a cup holder and or cup holders for my bench seat 66 Coronet.
The only options I found that looked retro we're in the $300 range so I decided to take matters into my own hands.
With one piece of cedar about an inch thick i i managed to attach three pieces of wood together and cut them with a curve on each base to match the transmission hump.
I ordered these stainless and black cup holder inserts that are found in marina application for boat tables.
I painted the unit with semi-gloss black and then stressed it out with sandpaper too match the natural tones of my black interior. The end result looks pretty good i think.
The hole saw is a specific size to fit these cup holders but all in all i have less than $25 invested.
If anyone is interested in one i can make you one for$1,000 US plus shipping lol
