Hey guys! I picked up a project 72 charger 440 727. I’m trying to get it to the point where I can start the car but I don’t have any power other than a single dash light. I’m a bit confused about the fuse block. Should there be wires from the batt and acc? If so, where they hell do they go? There isn’t any wires hanging around other than the two you see hanging in the pic. Which I also have no idea where those go. I’m not getting anywhere with wiring diagrams. It’s been suggested to me that some accessories are not included in some diagrams. Any and all help appreciated! Also, there’s a severed wire in my engine bay that comes out of the firewall directly under the brake booster. It has body paint on it so I can’t even tell you what color it’s suppose to be. Thanks!

I “think” that wire is for your speakers. Anyway….to simply start the car
1. Run a wire from the battery + to the coil + (sends power to ignition)
2. Take a screw driver and short the large terminal on the starter relay (has a nut on it) to the yellow wire terminal on the starter relay (cranks starter)

There are companies that make a color coded laminated wiring diagram for a very reasonable amount that I have found incredibly helpful

Classic Industries has the colorized/laminated wiring diagrams. Greatly simplifies sorting out which wire goes where and only costs twenty something bucks.

Also have the ignition switch in the run position.

Appreciate it! And I have one on order. I have other diagrams via online. I’m still confused about the fuse block with the batt and acc. If I’m reading the diagrams correctly, they should be spliced in? But that’s concerning as all the wiring is in the car and original. There’s nothing spliced that I can find. The engine was pulled to be rebuilt and was dropped back in but the ignition system wasn’t there. I’ve installed all of that and I thought I was ready to crank the key but I got almost nothing powered up
