I have two non-mopar cars for sale on ebay. One is a 1967 GTO, the other is a 2007 Ford Fusion. My question is does anyone know how to post a link to those cars without violating the rules here or ebays rules. I reckon I should change my name from Trimmer (Bill) to Confused most of the time. I will be thankful fr any and all information. Thanks !!

Thanks Rick.

I ran both of those cars twice on ebay. Neither one of them sold, although I about got writers cramp from answering a truck load of questions. The GTO got up to real close to what we have in the engine alone and within 1225.00 of what the reserve was.

The Fusion was the really shocking one. I still can not believe nobody wanted a car with only 8000 miles on it for 12000.00. It got to $8600.00 the first time and $6000.00 the second time. People said "What's wrong with it? It should have 75000 miles or more on it". I thought wtf cain't you read? I believe I explained it clearly. Right after we bought the Ford I had some health problems that took me out of the game for over 3 years and the Ford sat in my garage not being used. We made payments on for 5 years and it is still just sitting around.

The only 2 things that we actually accomplished is (1) we now have about $130.00 more invested in those cars and (2) we made ebay a $130.00. Did not benefit me and the wife at all. Selling at 12 grand we are loosing about 12 grand.

They are both still for sale. Thanks...Bill

I had looked at listing my cars on their before too but the fees seem way too high (not that I could really even understand the damn fee schedules). I can deal with the idea of paying a percentage of the sales price but to pay $100 or so just to list and then having to keep paying it every time you relist is a bit rediculus. Especially true with an older car where you are not sure what the correct value is. After years of buying on Fleabay I tried my hand at selling a few small items a couple years back. Once I realized that you have to keep paying the listing fee every time the item relists I stopped.
