This is my last NOS big block cam. This has been sitting in this box since the early 80’s. The whole cam is purple, and the end is marked with what cam it is(later purple shafts only had a dab of purple and identifying them is troublesome)
All the lifters are sealed. I opened one 8 pack to check the condition of 1 lifter. I am going to assume the rest look the same.
Cam is unused. No rust and no pitting. Some stains on the surface that I believe is just what Mopar wiped on the cams.
I have had the cam stored in a bag with zinc treatment oil since I’ve had it I pulled it out and wiped it down with a paper towel for this picture you might see some length from the towels in the pictures.
The ELCO bottle is still full and still liquid inside.
