I have 5 with 3.9s and 2 with 318s all are extended cab 2 of them are 4x4. I also have a 2011 crew cab 4x4 with a 4.7. I wish they had stuck with the 318.
The 2011 suspension isn't as heavy as the 90s models. But it gets much better fuel economy.
I look at the vacuum canister to the right side underneath dash. Line is hooked up.
When I slide the temp selector from hot to cold the temp goes from Luke warm to ice cold almost instantly. I'm guessing this means that all of the vacuum functions are working proper.
Narrows it down to either heat selector door isn't quite closing all the way or a plugged heater core.
The heater hoses are only partially warm. The top hose is warm. The lower hose maybe room temperature
