Did dodge use the same nuts to hold in the taillights no all 70 bbodies? Looking at picking up an extra set of taillights for my 70 r/t, but the set does not have the nuts on the posts. Just checking to see how hard those nuts will be to locate. Probably pretty easy of they were used on all models.

Had a 70 RR and now a 70 Coronet. Both had those nuts. Among others. LOL

speed nuts ....gack I hate those ...razor blades if you try and hold them with your fingers

Good to know...that they were widely used. Not that they are a pain to work with. Thanks

I think it was what ever the purchasing department gave to the line.
...and wahtever the parts stocker put in the bin at any given line station.

My 66 Coronet has speed nuts on one side of the car and machined nuts with captive washers on the other side.
For nearly everything!

I first noticed this when removing the tail lights and quarter extensions.
