I think of this show as a adventure without actually contributing to it. Alot better than most shown on tv. Another is skinwalker ranch. I like it. But who knows whats out there?

Oak Island is a great show in that, there is a ton of lore associated with the Island. The interesting part for me, is the structure of the workings and the bits and pieces they have found. I honestly think the whole Oak Island mystery is surrounding an early mine, not a burial vault for deposited treasure.

I got sucked in for about 3 episodes, always just on the edge of finding something and then I finally snapped out of it and realized that are not going to find crap, but if they did you would see it on the news before it was on the show, thus I don't watch it any longer. Just one more BS reality show that isn't real.

...its kind of fun watching Mart **** the bed when the excavator bills come in.....thats the real treasure of Oak Island.....for all them union guys digging in the hole...!!

I enjoy the show, but things just don't make sense. They actually do dig up stuff that make s a person wonder, " why did someone do so much work?" Something did happen , but what ? And I cannot believe that the show generates enough advertising income to pay the expenses So many people involved that would have to be paid if it was all for show. And I don't think amatures could act that well if it was all scripted. I expect some has to be recreated, which amatures could do if they felt the motivation. And I do think they get off on a tangent to keep the show alive. And I don't think anything is still there , and quite possible they already know that.... If in fact there is that much income from advertising. .................MO

might as well watch Gold Rush,
if you want to see people digging/playing in the mud
all over the west & Yukon territory
that actually find something of real value
especially with Gold prices so high

the characters like Parker Schnobble
are getting really old to take any more
punk spoiled by wealth, freaken' engreat backstabber now
talks **** about the very people that made him rich
Tony Beats, gave him an opportunity, at a claim with royalties

Anybody else irritated by the Oak Island narrator who makes a question out of every discovery? Like "A French coin"? "From the 17th century"? "Does this prove the presence of French before the money pit was discovered"? GRRRRRR !!

i find that guy Maddy or mattie not sure how to spell it, hes the guy on the show before oak island, he interviews all the guys about the island... i find him to be the biggest kiss *** tool on TV. he sucks these guys *** and hes so fake, secondly would be that *** hat with the metal detector, expert my *** ...amyone of us could do what hes doing on that show.... despite all that negativity from me i never miss an episode...
