My 65 Coronet is equipped with power steering from the factory. Although it works fine for "parking lot" driving it is just a little to light at highway speeds. It seems this is a charactistic of the mopar power steering throughout the 60's as I have had several that drove like this.

Does anyone know of a "cure" to add a little road feel in the car....? I thought about a restrictor in the fluid line but haven't tried it.

You want to change the regulator spring. There was a good article about this very upgrade in MoPar Action not too long ago.

FirmFeel can solve this common problem.
