Oil filter adaptor for '68 & '69 ?

Does anyone know if the 45* oil filter adaptor will clear a stock k-member on a 68 or 69 b body?

I really dont want to do the remote oil filter.

What aplications would have the adaptor with the larger center hole (08+)?

I have one on mine. You gotta cut some of the back spout off and use a smaller (length) filter. Or cut the k frame and use a bigger filter.

Here you go - this is what I did for my 68 Charger with a 6.1L Hemi swap

I used the 45 degree adaptor on my 6.1 conversion, however the adaptor kit did not include a back up ring for the outer o-ring and leaked when the motor was started, something to watch out for.

The bad thing about this is you have to use a smaller filter unless you notch the k frame. If the adapter was say 60 degrees, ou could use then you normal size filter, may be even bigger.

Just looked this stuff up on www.wholesalemopar.com and the adapter has jumped up $20 to $53 making the total from there about $65 plus shipping. Still the least expensive option by about $5.

Does anyone know the difference between the 53021610AF Adapter and the 53021610AE Adapter?

The AF is $53.24

The AE is $24.44 fits a 4x4 03-08

Any thoughts?
