Does this length look too short. Can’t get a Jomar filter to screw on and a K&N barely turns on turn and half
 
Looks like it's a shorter length as the one I have.Mine is from a 318

I agree, it looks short. Also looks like two different thread pitches. I would leave it off the motor, and see how it threads into a fram (just dont use the fram!).

I just removed it from the car. Damn if I can find one.
 
Big block, melling hi volume pump.
Seems to have a nipple into the pump without a hex. .812 thread length, looks like 15 threads or so.
 
I believe a Ford Windsor engine has the same thread as a Mopar.
May be easier to find.
