Oil Filter

i sent an e-mail to kandpengineering asking if their filter has an anti drainback. the answer was no. this means if the filter sits in the horizontal oil will drain out/back to the bottom of the screw thread that attaches it to the pump. if the filter sits in the vertical, screw thread down, there will be total drain back. if in the vertical, screw thread up (like chevys) there shouldn't be any drain back. drain back equals a dry start. basically designed for a chevy and some fords.

I guess most filters drain back. I yes an Moroso accumulator my engine is always Pre charged with 30 lbs of oil prior to starting. Never a dry start.

Mine cranks long enough to develop pressure before it starts. There are ways around dry startups.
