Oil pan replacement

Scoured the forum and ran across similar postings about aftermarket oil pans not clearing the K member for 73 and up big block.

I have a 440 73 Charger and tried two different oil pans with no luck. Tried another big block k member and motor (400 setup) - same issue.

Other than continued use of my dinged up original factory oil pan, anyone have luck with an aftermarket? Street use only - not planning to race if that helps. Thanks!

I have used a Milodon 31015 7 qt and an extended stock pan on my 73 without modifications to the K member, What pans have you tried? Are you still using the isolation mounts for the K member? I assume your using the stock motor mounts.

Would the 1970 6pak-hemi 6qt pan work? Rather simple and good enough for cruising around.

Aftermarket without modification not sure, but the OEM pan that does fit is a 971 (73-78)

Thank you everyone for the information. I was hoping to find a chrome one - I know…. I’ll look for another 971 pan or go with the 440 source repo.
