Putting my stroker back together after a trip to the machine shop. I broke the oil pick up off in the block.

How much clearance do I need between the crankshaft assembly and the oil pickup.? The base of the new oil pickup is thicker than the one I broke, so I’ll need to grind some clearance.

Thanks

I use and 1/8" as a guide. Just curious what are you planning on grinding.

My crank scraper is set at .060" from the crank. If the pick-up is rigid it doesn't need much.
