Interesting. I noticed the comment about a drag race engine being 150* or less. I wonder what an iron block bracket race motor oil temp is after 4,5, 6, 7 rounds? I've never had an engine oil temp gauge so I don't know. I'll stick with my builders rec of 20-50.

Hello and Thank-You for making me a member. I just picked up this 79 Chrysler 300 with less than 15k miles on it. It has Cragers on it now but, would like to go back to stock original not sure if they were hubcaps or not but, anyway I will be looking for some of those. The prvious owner bought it in 1983 with only 6k original miles, the Lean burn system was replaced with a new edelbrock distributor and carb. It still has it's factory original paint. Anyway Thanks Again For Making Me A member.
