I'm really sick of this sh!t. Enough already!!!!! Give us a freakin break! -20 to -40 for the past month. And I got snow up to my armpits!!

Very hard winter to get any work done in a unheated garage. Work for ten minutes or so and then back in the house to warm up. Only savings grace I've found is a borrowed heat gun. Stick it in the shoes till their toasty -- gets you another ten-fifteen minutes of work time.

I agree RC, it's supposed to hit 38 here today for some reason. It's been below zero it seems like for months. Got 2 inches of snow piled on last night. We have a water line that goes from the basement of the main cabin across thirty feet or so to the hot water heater and lines in the garages and apartment. that thing is buried under about six feet of earth and it's frozen.

Cold is a relative thing... it was around 34 here the other day... it was a damp and bone chilling frigg'n cold. Today the thermometer reads the same, but it's more like tee shirt weather. I was in the mountains up in NH last weekend and it was -25, but I wasn't cold at all, in fact I was sweating my tail off riding a snowmobile. Two years ago I was living down south freezing my butt off in 55 degree weather on Virginia Beach. I feel for those living in the northern lakes regions, the humidity there must carry that cold straight to your bones.

Sunday, February 22, 2015, 11:34 AM - After a slight reprieve this weekend, southern Ontario's extreme deep freeze is coming back with a vengeance.

Extreme cold temperatures feeling like -40 were already apparent in the province's north, and Environment Canada extended extreme cold warnings to cover most of the south late morning Sunday.

"Bitterly cold Arctic air will return to the region later today in the wake of a sharp Arctic cold front," the agency said. "Stiff northwesterly winds combining with very cold, possibly record-setting mimimum temperatures will once again result in extreme wind chills of minus 40 to minus 30 overnight and Monday morning."

Made 38 Degrees today. Go figure. A couple of chickens wandered out of the barn and were freaked out.

Don't feel to bad... Mount Washington in NH saw wind chills of -98 when I was up there last week. They had steady 92 mph winds and gusts up to 141 mph. A NYC woman hiking the nearby ranges died that day on the side of a mountain. Local hikers no when to stay home, or at least stay below the timber line.

I jinxed my self it's now 25 in north TX. freezing rain and sleet till 6 pm tomorrow it feels like being back in Rochester NY. it SUCKS!!!!

Had enough. Going to San Diego on Friday and then Bakersfield the following weekend for the March Meet. Its funny when the locals see us in shorts and tee shirts and identify us as the northerns!

Its 1 degree out finally being below 0 all night, I just plowed the drive way and my heat is on in the shop where im headed to clean up tools from a new water pump we had to put in,,, but Florida is sure sounding good any more!
