The 101st Airborne Paratroopers in the photo look badass, especially the one with the war paint. Screaming Eagles Rendezvous with destiny. We owe these guys our eternal gratefulness, and respect for ridding the world of such evil. The Greatest Generation.

The soldier next to the soldier in war paint bears a strong resemblance to the Duke.

It was shameful. Soldiers do not shape foreign policy. These guys came home to a hostile, and uncaring country.

We did not need to leave home to experience that. Just serving was enough. In a time when 99% had little choice. The public should have taken it out on those known sent them there. Stupid thing is those of us that volunteered after the draft were treated the same.
