It didn’t sound like it was even at full throttle.

I'm thinking the converter isn't correct. I had this setup in my GTX , and it worked fine.
GTX was 600 lbs. Heavier and had more compression.
Also the fuel pressure fell to 1 lb.. on takeoff and bounced around all the way down track.
I was going to swap distributors but then noticed brake fluid under back of the car.
Enough warning signs for me to quit for the year.
I'll fix the brake problem and pull the engine and trans .
Primary engine, trans and torque converter will be ready to drop in probably in January.

I think it’s got 10:50 in it
