One thing you could change @ Mother MOPAR

Give the LA 318 a high performance version from the beginning in 1967. Kind of like what Chevrolet did with the 327.

They did (almost, it was 1968). It was called the 340 and is one of the baddest small blocks ever made! :thumbsup:

The 340 is one of the very few engines that were NEVER made in anything but a performance version.
 
I wouldn't change tell them to change a thing; they did it right, from start to finish. I would've bought a ford or GM if that wasnt the case...

I know this is a more modern item, but should never have made the latest generation Charger a 4 door! A 4 door? Sorry, guys and girls. :wtf:
 
Kept MOPAR Performance parts in the speed shops were they belonged. Remember the 1960's when every performance shop had on the shelf Chrysler parts.
 
Should be mini tubbed in every car so can put tires and wheels you want.
 
Nobs, switches and mounting brackets. Start with turn signal switch? If a window crank breaks off in your hand? It's likely a Mopar!
 
Power wires going through the firewall should not go through packard 56 connectors. Should go through a seperate bolted buss bar.
 
Less "shelves" for salt, dirt and water to collect, especially at the front end, inside the wheel well where the uca mounts, there is a perfect spot for rust to start. This would be typical for most cars of that era though, and not specific to Mopar.

Lol well the shortcomings everyone's listing here are valid but not impossible to deal with. Anyone with a little bit of know-how can change most of these issues. If someone asked me what I would change with GM's and Ford's vehicles in the 60's I'd say all of it. Most of their cars from that era are completely unattractive to me and that unfortunately can't be changed. The whole ammeter/power wire through the bulkhead in Mopars, lefthanded studs, I can deal with...

Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder....... My first “muscle” car was a 1973 Z28 one day I would like to replicate it. The second was a 1971 Corvette LS5 Roadster I completely restored with the original 454 that I stroked to a 496. Both of those cars were very fast, well designed and made. And aesthetically very pleasing to me. After having the GM’s I have to say the Mopar designs are similar and while we can and do deal with all the issues listed I find less to complain about with GM dare I say such a blasphemous thing here. I also think the 1970’s designs of GM looked more sleek especially the Camaro and Corvette. But there is definitely something to the Mopar designs thats a little more raw and gritty and tough that I find very appealing. When I think of a muscle car the BBody is what my mind thinks of first........
