open plugs in dash?

we were putting in the dash mounted tach, got rid of the monster 5" tach. My dash lights are not working, and when took the instrument panel out all the lights were out of the sockets..BUT my question is...does anyone know what these plugs are for? the wires are green and black, and another not seen has green,black, and pink.

i dont really know what YOURS are for but i can tell you this:

upon rebuilding my dash (70 RR)...and adding the A01 light package, i found many "empty" wiring plugs that are "live'.

these live sockets could possibly be for options that your car DOES NOT have. i used a test light to find this out....key on.,,,,key off,,,,,,lights on ,,,,lights off and found many that apply to what i needed them for...perhaps thats what these empty plugs in your car are.

get an unpowered ( no battery in it) test light and find out what they do...if they do anything at all !
