I'm still on the hunt for a nice, turn key Superbee. This one caught my eye. The VIN WM23H9G105149 says its a 383 car yet it has a 440 in it now, so assume its not the original motor?

Can anyone see anything 'wrong' with the car? Looks like it would be a lot of fun.

Heres the link to lots of pics,

Looks like a nice, clean car, but the oil pan and gas tank seem pretty beat up. The lines all look pretty good except the door to front fender looks wide

the vin indicates real Bee....ask if original 4 speed car. 440 is obviously not original. For a 383 Bee, 44900 will get you the pick of any. It's the most I've seen for a 383 bee. There have been #matching cars for less in great condition, but it's your money

That does seem to be a stiff price for a NOM Bee. Not to much more will get you a decent A12 car. From the pictures it looks to be done fairly decent. I noticed the hood hinges weren't painted body color. Is there a fender tag? Make sure that matches the VIN, rad. support, and trunk gutter.

$30k - $35k car tops.. Old gas tank.. Bottom of the car painted black and not color, front end looks like its been gone through but a very long time ago. For $45k you should be able to eat of the bottom of that car. It is a real Bee though.

Nice looker but over priced in my opinion.Door gaps looked like that when these cars were new.

Where is the fender tag? Seems like a lot of money for that car at this time. You can buy a nice six pack car for that kind on money. Just my thoughts.

I agree with price being a little steep, I'd say more like mid-30k's. Like everyone's sayin you could get a six-pack car for that much. But in general that's a pretty nice 'Bee! Oil pan and gas tank definitely aren't new lol but if you want it throw a lower offer at it!

Price is a little high for sure but one things for sure that white and red color combo rocks.

That is the kind of A12 I was thinking about. Seems to be a very good price for that car. Kinda makes me feel stupid putting all the money I am into my Charger project.

I have been in touch with the owner of that car already, good solid car, does have a couple of small rust issues that normally would be no real issue but as the wife has given her blessing to this purchase under the provision that whatever I buy needs no work I'm going to have to let it slide.

As for 6-pack cars for mid 40's, well fella's, feel free to point me at them! My ideal car is a 69 or 70 Bee, 440 6-pack 4-speed in a nice colour, like Plum crazy or Hemi Orange etc. Bucket seats would be nice too!

What are the rust issues?

damn if you bought my 69 GTX for 20K & put another 20K into it you would have a car as least 5 times as nice as this over priced turd

The white and red makes for one great looking car but agree that it's over priced by a pretty good margin.

Trunk floor and lower rear quarters but only minor bubbling. My theory is if its starting there, then its probably not far away in other areas and you just end up chasing your tail and have to go a full resto. I just don't have that in me anymore.

Think you hit the nail on the head there Aussie. Could easily run away on you into a much larger project than expected.

As far as I'm concerned there's no such thing as "just minor bubbling" lol, any bubbling usually spells a lot of work. Especially when it's on a lower quarter. Good call Aussie, keep on the hunt and you'll find your ride in no time
