Opinions on this 69 Superbee

I love the white/red color combo and the car is nice, but as everyone said--a bit overpriced. Also...that car has been for sale for almost a year that I know of. I saw that one when I was looking last June for my Bee. Makes you wonder, is it just the price or are people finding things wrong with it?

As far as I'm concerned there's no such thing as "just minor bubbling" lol, any bubbling usually spells a lot of work. Especially when it's on a lower quarter. Good call Aussie, keep on the hunt and you'll find your ride in no time

I know of this car, it is at a dealership called morrison motor company. they have been trying to sell this car for years, and they are always way overpriced on about everything they sell!

68 didn't have that hood. only flat hoods and power bulge hoods came on 68. that hood was offered on 69 super bee.

the white 383 Bee is way overpriced as mentioned before.

The A12 Bee is not a good example for a nice car. Does have cheap sherman quarterpanels so it had a lot of bodywork in the past already

Trunk floor and lower rear quarters but only minor bubbling. My theory is if its starting there, then its probably not far away in other areas and you just end up chasing your tail and have to go a full resto. I just don't have that in me anymore.



The bubbling can lead to absolute sht, ask me how I know. Do yourself a huge favor and stay away from any of these older cars that have any rust issues since you are looking for a quality car. You need to be patient and thorough because there are a lot of flippers out there ready to steal your money.

Sorry to bump an old thread, but thought this was a good place to ask. IF this was a Coronet 440 w/ SuperBee trim/tribute instead of a real one. All other things the same pretty much, newer drivetrain, zero rust, excellent interior/ext/paint/glass/etc.

Roughly what would you see as a fair price-range? Just curious, tia...

You could buy a done '69 Road Runner or Super Bee here in California for $30,000 or less. The enclosed pictures is of a friends '69 numbers matching Bee w/ the factory Ramcharger hood, buckets/console auto. He was asking 30k or trade. View attachment 124172

I'm still on the hunt for a nice, turn key Superbee. This one caught my eye. The VIN WM23H9G105149 says its a 383 car yet it has a 440 in it now, so assume its not the original motor?

Can anyone see anything 'wrong' with the car? Looks like it would be a lot of fun.

I'm thinking for a similar car (to the white one in the O.P.), but a tribute/clone, maybe mid $20k's? What do the rest of you think? I've looked at car ads for MANY years continuously, plus most of the Mecum & BJ auctions (the "cheap Fridays" are good for us mortal's budgets). And the last year especially, cruise Craigs & AutoTraderClassics multiple times a day, everyday, lol.
