What would you guys guesstimate the value at for a ,
1965 Belveder II, two door, 426 street wedge, 4-speed.
The car is original and date/casting correct.
It is not a trailer queen but a good clean strong driver.
Opinions wanted.
Thanks.

According to NADA (National Automobile Dealer Assn.), a 65 Belvedere II with a 426 /365 wedge and a 4 speed should retail for $14,000. in average condition and +- $23,000 in good condition. They will tell you on their site (nada.com) how they rate condition.
The problem with this is that a car is 'worth' what any buyer is willing to pay for it. If some guy had one in high school and he just has to have this one that's just like it, he may well pay lots more than the above price. On the other hand, if no one steps up to the plate with cash, except you, and the seller NEEDS the money, the price may come down considerably. In other words, it's worth what a buyer is willing to pay!

Would the 65 Plymouth with a 426-s worth about the same as the 65 426-s dodges?
How would they compare price wise to the 64's?
Thanks for any insight.

in my opinion , i see it like this. with any of our cars , it will come down to originality, and who is willing to pay what for it, and what it will take to get it into the condition that person wants it to be in. if the block and trans have been replaced or if it is a complete rust bucket then you are looking at the low end of the scale. BUT, there may be someone out there that wants it THAT BAD and is willing to give you top dollar for it. it is so hard to put a REAL world value on any car. there is always someone out there that MAY pay the price. i have seen mint condition 70 superbees numbers matching 383 cars go for 8,000 all the way up to 40,000 in basically unrestored condition. people are always asking "whats it worth" ,that is MY answer.
