Ordered from Jegs for the first time......

ordered from summit and 2 out of 3 were back ordered. A month on a flex fan and 8 days for a 1 1/2 fan spacer. Not sticking up for Jegs but just putting it out there.

How is it Summit's fault for things being backordered?! Lots of manufacturing and shipping delays on everything currently.

When i order from summit, always ON THE PHONE, the order-taker unfailingly tells me if its local in stock, coming from a farther warehouse, or backordered. Then i have the option of continuing or not.
I have had nothing but bad experiences ordering stuff on line. I just wont do it. If thats the only way you'll do business.....f you.

Summit all the way. Jegs puny little catalog doesn't even have a MOPAR section anymore!

Jegs once sent me a massive catalog, bigger yet than summits, without ANY prices in it, just an advisory to check for price on line. Never seen that again. I guess that plan didnt work too well for them.

Now one full week since I placed my order from Jegs. Four of the six line items were Jegs branded products. Not one thing has arrived yet.

Jegs has alot of their stuff listed on eBay usually same prices or cheaper with Free shipping. The part I like is you know they have those items for sure.

I ordered some stuff from Summit yesterday..... here today! Meanwhile, a week and a half later, I’m still waiting on numerous items from my Jegs order.

If I receive and item that is missing parts or defective I write on the package with felt pen in large letters what the problem is so no one else will get it

I was having problems on the Summit site, not seeing prices and quantity numbers were wrong. I contacted Summit about it and they told me it could be the software version on the iPad that I was using. It did turn out to be just that. I recently purchased a new iPad and problem solved.

Like most I prefer Summit over JEGs but recently I ordered a mid rise lift and a 5.7 crate engine from JEGS because they were cheaper. The lift showed up relatively quickly but the engine was back ordered (as it was on Summit) but did arrive prior to their listed date.

ordered an amd front fender several years ago from Jegs. showed up smashed returned it took 4 months to receive another one. it came with a top outside body line as thick as my pinky and a side line stamped 3/4" lower than it should have been, got me thinking that they were getting deals on seconds. guarantee I'll never have an issue with Jegs again, they won't get the chance. have never had an issue with summit. shipping may get real ugly soon, I've been hearing about a nationwide strike by truckers coming up on the 29th of this month, not sure about the details or it if it's legit.

Jegs $149 purchase to get free shipping. Summit $99 but for how long?

I’m pretty lucky in that there’s a speed shop just down the road. I ordered a set os Comp lifters Tuesday and picked them up this morning. Their prices are better than Summit’s and no shipping charge.
