WTB Original alternator adjusting strap.

Looking for an original alternator adjusting strap bracket for a BB. Looking for one with no pitting or very minimal pitting.

Interesting, I've never noticed such notch. I'll have a look when I hit the shop tomorrow at 5 big blocks... Pictures are my #'s '69 Bee.

if you could let me know what you see I would appreciate it. I know there’s things in the MMC book that aren’t always correct.

Busy day, but I just went down the line. No notch on any of them. 1967 #'s 383 Bararacuda. 66 Hemi Sat, 70 Superbird, 69 Bee nor on my 64 Dodge with the 73 440 in it. All OE brackets... no notch at the end.

10,000 guys here, maybe a couple more will go and look at theirs. Cannot see E bodies getting anything different.. but...

Got me curious so I went to take a look and sure'nuff mine has the notch. Put together with pieces I had in stock. Don't know what year it's from. Possibly a 65 383 I had at one time?

With all this talk of notches or no notches, I had to go look at mine. I removed the oem ones from both my 69 RR and 69 Bee when I converted over to Denso alternators. Both my cars had notched brackets.
