Original bumper ?

I recently removed what i think is the original front bumper from my 68 coronet. I"m considering having it rechromed as opposed to buying new. Before i do though, i want to be sure what i have is original. Should there be a penta star or id # on it sonewhere ? Or is there another way to tell ?

I'd say it's 90%+ that it's original......

I didn't have. Penstar or number on mine when I took them off the 68 to be rechromed. Not every part has a Mopar stamp or number on it. Re chrome the thing if it's in good shape.
