249,000 miles on my red 70 R/T. 189,000+ put on it over the last 36 years by me. Still unrestored as is today.
I still would have bought it and drove the hell out of it. Original or not. They are cars. They are meant to be transportation, and meant to be driven.I gave some thoughts to try and buy the unrestored 66 that Tony D used to own.
But with it only being a 6000 miles car. I just couldnt do it . I have no use for a garage ornament

Yep, mine had 9906 on it when we bought it. Sure isn't gonna stay there... just looked and it's at 10,386 now.I still would have bought it and drove the hell out of it. Original or not. They are cars. They are meant to be transportation, and meant to be driven.
A guy I know bought an all original survivor 73' charger with 3200 miles years ago. He is up to 28,000 miles now. It's good to see it being driven.Yep, mine had 9906 on it when we bought it. Sure isn't gonna stay there... just looked and it's at 10,386 now.

Very true. Fix it as needed and keep driving it.Yes, but if you could buy another one to your liking for less money.... why bother? Use the extra money for another Mopar. Or gas to drive it more.
With ultra low miles and originality: some gasket is just going to blow out on you, old hard trans seal leaks, power steering O-ring. Does not make for a very reliable driver. Especially if it's got options with wearable parts.
When it was coming up for auction. I gave it some thoughts as it was right about the time I was getting serious on a car. Deep down, I thought the car would top 100k. Which was well above my max budget . BUT,,,, It didnt . It barely broke mid 70s Which IMO was a steal for the car.I still would have bought it and drove the hell out of it. Original or not.
