In occurred to me I don't post here enough! Here is our '68 RR and a little history on it. I originally bought it in 1998 and raced it until 2003 when I bought our 1970 tube chassis Challenger R/T. At that point in time the RR sat more than it should and only was raced maybe once a year. In 2008 I put the current Mopar Performance 505 crate motor in it but had taken the Mopar stage 5 heads off (that they came with) and replaced with ported Indy EZ's opened up to max wedge ports and messaged a bit, it also received a Comp Cam solid roller, the heads & cam were done by Dwayne Porter on the other side of the country and shipped to me. The motor is 10.75/1 so I run it on a cock-tailed mixture of 4 gallons of 91 pump gas and 1 gallon 114 concoction. At this same time I had Doctor Diff build a Dana 60 with a Detroit locker so I could street drive as well as since owning the Challenger it would be cool to make this street legal again which I did, at that time with 3" exhaust to the axle and 2.5" over it was running 10.40 with the 9" Hoosier radials. In 2013 I got stupid and sold it to a friends son in New Hampshire so it went across country till late in 2019 when I was offered a chance to buy it back. During that time back in NH we kept in touch as he did a bit of work to it including new paint & bodywork, when in his possession he removed the full exhaust, installed a new 727 with transbrake, new MSD Grid ignition, Flaming River tilt wheel, added new Strange adjustable shocks, added CalTrac split mono springs and a few other things I am forgetting.

Nice rides...

nice #'s too

Reading your post, 2 things occurred to me. 1) that is an awesome car & story. 2) I hope you look better than the other Keith Richard.

sweet rides you have thanks for sharing.

I liked the old school paint job

I did as well but being from the early 80's a bit of the bodywork was showing it's age more than the new owner cared for and he decided to paint it, he always kept in contact and gave me updates on the paint work and a few other upgrades, it is now a Ford color called Avalanche Gray. The top picture is of the owner I bought it from that originally built the car, I took this picture out on a Thursday night drag back in mid-1984, in 1998 when I was looking for a drag car I heard about this old '68 RR that had been in a barn for 10-15 years and the second picture is from when we brought it home. A few other pictures when a local dealer borrowed it for there showroom and random pictures.......

Thanks for all the positive comments!
