It'd take the old cars (69 or 70 aero cars) a few laps to get up momentum 200+
but they'd (Super Bird or esp. Daytona Chargers) get passed the
newer better handling (carbonfiber bodied independent suspended) cars
because of aero & that huge wing in clean air & still use the bigger cid Hemi
as long as they both could run the newer tires,
old ones are hard as rocks in comparison,
night & day difference in compounds/traction/wear
old ones had lasted way longer, but not as much grip
I'd bet the Hemi would have to pit for fuel more too
