Did you measure the head volume I have never seen a set of 452s have less than 90cc without being milled. I agree on waiting to order pushrods till last. I would just use a MP 292/509 cam or something similar in a hyd. unless you go back in and have some work done in the head, inner spring seats, bowl and gasket match. my 2 cents anyway

Heads were CC'd by the machine shop. 87cc
 
I would definitely use the KB quench dome pistons. Mock it up with 1 piston, a head gasket, and a piece of clay in there. Rotate 1 turn, take it apart to see what your piston to head clearance is. Shoot for .035" to .040" for good quench. Makes the engine more responsive, less prone to ping.

And 10 to 1 C/R would be just right in my book. I like a lot of compression.
