Paint finish

The car is a 68 Coronet. What finish do I use for the headlight trim and for the side swoosh pieces? I think I used satin (not flat and not semi-gloss) on the grill and that looks right. Thanks!

For black I would use SEM Trim Black.

SEM trim black and a good satin black are almost identical to me.

If you want black, SEM Trim Black is the only way to go, it's probably the most durable spray-bomb paint. I repainted the plastic headlight bezels of my GN several years ago, they still look great. I also like that the prep is very simple, and it works on metal or plastic. I scuff the parts with 400-grit and spray it on. It doesn't even say it needs primer.
