Using a 66 Charger 426 Hemi, ordered an 833 Hemi OD from Jamie Passon, waited months to get it. Port side shift plate leaks, rear output seal leaks. Third gear schronizer {sp} is looser than 1,2,an 4th. Supplied 3td an 4th gear linkage rod is bent at the wrong angle resulting in removing 4 extra inches from the floorpan. No paper work -none.

Unfortunately there have been a few bad reports about Passon transmissions. I know there's always a % of people who will have problems but from the ones I've read it made me stay clear. I went with a Tremec TKX instead.

Not sure why you had to remove 4 extra inches from the floorpan because of a linkage bent at the wrong angle. Why not correct that before cutting up your car? One of the big selling points of the Passon transmissions is the factory fit with no cutting.

The other stuff could be minor, easy to fix.

What did they say when you called them about these issues???? Something does not sound right here.

First post and trashing a vendor?

I also have no idea how a bent rod required "removing 4 extra inches from the floorpan". Without more information, something is just not adding up here.

I had Jamie's OD transmission in my '70 Cuda and loved it. Be sure the rods are setup like an OD 833 transmission not a stock transmission.

Agree. A member for two years and your first post is trashing a well known Mopar vendor. To gain just a shred of legitimacy, OP should go back to the Welcome Wagon forum and introduce yourself and your car, and post up some pics. If you can't do that then the Mods should delete this thread.
