Paxton supercharger ?

Paxton supercharger

Jerry if you do this keep us informed. What car would you be doing this with? I was going to do it on a 71 GTX resto mod I just completed but chickened out because it was an afterthought and had already put 10:1 pistons in. Dressed it up with a March serpentine instead and used a QFT 850 and a Spectre short plenum filter set up.

I've been wanting one of those hummers since before I had a car to put it on. It the paint-it-pastel pro-street era EVERYONE had a big ol' Jimmy or Roots-type blower sticking out of the hood. An under-the-hood supercharger appealed to my low-key nature even as a kid.
Price alone has kept me out of that arena, but maybe someday...
Oh, sorry. I have nothing of significance to add to this thread, just daydreaming out loud...or something like that. :icon_eyes:

The problem with the Paxton so far and as far as I remember it being so unless it has been corrected/adjusted is, you can not use the stock fan/clutch fan. You MUST use an electric fan.

this is a paxton on my SB 1969 coronet. a clutch fan will fit. I think there is enough roomon a bb also. but have not done it yet!

Has anyone completed this for a RB motor? I am interested in one for my 68 GTX. I see them for LA motors, but never RB's?
