Guys, give me some input on the Petronics upgrade. I am building a stock appearing 440/512. I want the ignition to stay as stock appearing as possible without giving up major performance. Does the Petronics offer an internal rev limiter too? Has anyone gone this route? Thanks in advance for your suggestions and opinions.

I've used it in my 340 dart and in my fathers 64 Olds 394 Rocket and it has worked great. 10 years of beating it in the dart before I sold it, and it never missed or caused me any issue. The Olds got one this summer and it works great. I'd use Pertronix anytime.

I've used the Pertronix point replacement units and I have a Pertronix Billet distributor in my Bee, now. I've had no problems at all.

I've used them in Mopars but have used them mostly in C1-C3 Corvettes the point conversion kit. They work great. They make a Hi Perf Chrysler ICM with a adjustable rev limiter www.thertgarage.com

I'm looking to replace the Lean Burn on my 1977 Cordoba. I was thinking about going to the Pertronix Flame Thrower Plug and Play Ignitor II. It looks like a pretty easy swap out and would eliminate all of the Lean Burn stuff along with ballest resister etc. Has anyone done this? I used their module on my 72 Lincoln years ago and it has worked fine. TIA
