I remember a Willys running with that name and same graphic at Sparta (St. Thomas), but I don't recall the Gremlin. Probably the same guys.
 
Dave, I believe it was originally a Willys Coupe, hence the name. The next version was the Gremlin, and the last one I remember was an ex pro stock Astre (that is a Vega to those south of the border)

Here you go. The Astre was actually called Chief Chilly Willy, since it was a Pontiac.

Astres were sold new down here as well, under the Pontiac badge.
 
Indeed they were. But they were sold in Canada for two years before entering the US market.

By the way, they were sold under the Pontiac badge in Canada as well. :)
