My first 71 Charger 1985, also 80 Z28 and a 68 Javelin
I learned to drive a stick on a three speed Plymouth four door Savoy. Not quite as nice looking as the one above.
In those days, I'm sure it would make you wish for a time machine.A Charger R/T for sale...wonder what he was asking?

From looking at the background and the haircuts, I'd say its more mid 80s; however, the ask would still be CHEAP to us today. If that picture was taken in the late 70's, I'd say $1,400 - $2,000.
I'd agree, probably early to mid 80's. Tomorrow is their last day, closing for good. I wonder what kind of a turn out they're going to have, temperature 31*F snow on the ground, salt on the streets. It was one of the cruise places to go around here back in the 80's.From looking at the background and the haircuts, I'd say its more mid 80s; however, the ask would still be CHEAP to us today.
November 75, I paid $1200 for my 70 RoadRunner, stone stock one owner with 42k on the clock. So if your assumption on the time period is accurate, I'd say you are right on the money.
Dang I wish that box from ACME would get here so I could finish my time machine...
